Mickey Disneyland Countdown

It's me, Kami.  Did you know each year around this time my husband and I get a bug?  We feel the need to escape somewhere warm and beautiful...somewhere by the ocean.  That place always ends up being Southern California and somehow our kids always get to come along too!  We went to Disneyland this same time last year and so we thought we would do it again this year.  This time of year is great for going to Disneyland because the weather is just great, the lines are short, and it's fairly do-able, especially if you just have Getaway Today help you to book your trip.

If you are planning a Disneyland Trip any time soon, you may want to consider making a countdown for your children.  Otherwise, they will be asking and asking, "how many more days?".  So that's exactly what I decided to do.  I came up with this pretty simple Mickey Disneyland Countdown for
each of my girls.  I wanted to keep it simple and fast because heaven knows how many things I have been doing lately.  I promise, these took no more than fifteen minutes to make (I made two).  And I bet you can make yours in under 10 minutes if you have a Cricut Explore, because I have the link to the Design Space where I have done all the hard work for you HERE.
You just need to get the paper.  I just used black but originally wanted to use black, red, and yellow; like Mickey's outfit.  However, because I wanted to keep this simple, I just used what I had at my house.  I only had black card stock so I saved myself a trip to Michaels and settled for just black.

I just cut out the Mickey heads on my Cricut and also had my Cricut write the numbers on each of the heads.  After that I took them to my sewing machine and in order from the largest number to one, I ran each head through the machine.  It took me one minute, literally!
